Reizen naar India

Terms

Terms and conditions

In plain language, the way we talk to you. In case of doubt Dutch package travel law applies. This English text is a courtesy translation; the Dutch version prevails.

1. Who we are

Reizen naar India is a trade name of Saurav Mehta, based in Heerenveen and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 93820968. We organise guided group trips to India.

2. Signing up and booking

A sign-up through the website is not yet a booking. After an intake call we send a written confirmation with invoice. The booking is final once the deposit of €500 per person has been received.

Travellers must be 18 or older at departure, or travel accompanied by a parent or guardian.

3. Price and payment

The trip price is on the website per trip, with the full breakdown. What is on the website at the time of booking is the price. Not included are the items listed under 'Not included' per trip.

The balance is due no later than eight weeks before departure. For bookings within eight weeks of departure the full trip price is due immediately.

4. Cancellation by the traveller

Cancellations must be in writing. Up to eight weeks before departure the cost equals the deposit. From eight weeks before departure the full trip price is due, because flights and hotels are fixed by then.

Travel and cancellation insurance with worldwide cover is mandatory. We recommend taking it out on the day of booking.

5. Cancellation or changes by us

A trip goes ahead with at least 6 travellers. With fewer sign-ups we may cancel the trip no later than six weeks before departure. You then get back everything you paid.

The programme is the plan. Weather, roads, trains or safety situations can force us to change parts. We then offer an equivalent alternative and inform you as soon as possible.

6. Travel documents and health

You are responsible for a valid passport (at least six months valid after return), a valid e-visa and the recommended vaccinations. We help you with this, but the responsibility remains yours.

Tell us in advance about medical particulars, dietary wishes and mobility limitations so we can take them into account.

7. Liability

We carry out the trip with care and are liable for the proper performance of the package under the law. We are not liable for damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes or government measures, nor for damage covered by your insurance.

During the trip you follow the instructions of the tour leadership. Anyone who seriously disrupts the trip may be excluded from further participation without refund.

8. Privacy

We use your details only for organising and carrying out the trip and for contact about it. We share them only with parties needed for that, such as the airline and hotels, and never sell them.

9. Complaints and law

Have a complaint? Report it during the trip directly to the tour leadership so we can solve it on the spot. Complaints afterwards can be submitted in writing within a month of return. Dutch law applies to these terms.
